Sources close to Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump reveal that the former president is preparing for his upcoming debate with Kamala Harris in an unconventional way: by visiting wine bars and engaging in debates with inebriated patrons.
“Yes, it’s true—I came up with this fantastic way to get ready for Kamala,” Trump told a group of staffers. “I thought, ‘Donald, where would Kamala Harris feel right at home?’ And I’m telling you, folks, she’d love a wine bar. I keep expecting her to walk in any day now. It’s great practice, arguing with people who’ve had a few too many. I’m looking forward to the debate, believe me!”
Trump has remarked that this method might even be “over-preparing,” since he believes there’s no chance Harris will show up to the debate without first downing “at least seven shots of Jack Daniels.”
“I don’t think she can handle it, honestly,” Trump added. “Some people just can’t handle it. Very sad. Bad. Not good! But I can handle mine.”
At the time of publishing, Harris had reportedly caught wind of Trump’s unusual debate prep strategy and decided to ramp up her wine consumption, aiming to be even more inebriated than any of the wine bar patrons Trump might encounter.
