Oran Routh Son of Trump would-be assassin Ryan Routh, arrested for child pornography

Oran Routh, has been arrested on child pornography charges. This comes after his father Ryan Routh attempted an assassination on President Donald Trump’s life when he was out golfing at his course in Palm Beach, Florida.

The investigation found “hundreds” of child pornography files and videos when they searched the home of Oran Routh in Guilford County, North Carolina. The search was “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.” According to ABC News

The charges he is facing include the receipt of child pornography as well as possession of child pornography.

“A review of the SD card located in Device-1 revealed that it contained hundreds of child pornography files,” prosecutors said in a criminal filing. “These files include videos from a known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina.”

The filing added, “Videos from the series depict minors engaged in sex acts including a video of an adult male engaging in oral, vaginal, and anal sex with a prepubescent female minor approximately 8-10 years of age.”

The complaint added that during the search “investigators also recovered a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from Routh’s person (Device-2). A preliminary review of Device-2 also revealed child pornography. In a folder titled ‘Download,’ investigators observed a video depicting an adult female engaging in oral sex with a prepubescent minor female between approximately 6-8 years of age. On Device-2, investigators also located chats from a messaging application that, based on my training and experience, is commonly used by individuals who distribute and receive child pornography.”

After the second assassination attempt on Trump’s life, Routh was interviewed by Daily Mail about his father, he stated, “I don’t like Trump either.” He said that he did not think his father was a violent person.

“He’s not a violent person,” Oran Routh said of his father, now facing charges related to the assassination attempt. “He’s a hard worker and a great dad. He’s a great dude, a nice guy and has worked his whole f*cking life.”

When the Mail contacted Oran, he said it was the first time he had heard about the second assassination attempt. Oran said that he didn’t think his father owned a gun. Later in a text to the Mail, Routh appeared to justify the second attempt on Trump’s life: “I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that’s his choice.”

“I’m not saying that’s what he’s done or what he’s about, that’s just my own rant being fed up with it all for my entire adult life,” he added in the text. “South Park said it best, every 4 years we’re forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, and it all stays f*cked in the same ways by different degrees, and we’re exhausted and embarrassed by it all.”
