Journalist Chris Rufo, known for his work in challenging DEI initiatives at Ivy League schools, has confirmed a startling claim: migrants in Ohio have been cooking and eating cats.
A video circulating on social media from Dayton, Ohio—located about 30 minutes from Springfield—appears to show an African migrant grilling what looks like skinned cats on a charcoal grill. The clip, dated August 25, 2023, includes a caption that reads, “Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood,” referring to Parkwood Drive in Dayton. The video shows two live cats walking nearby, with a voice remarking, “There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin’, man. Look like his homies on the grill!”
The creator of the video, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed its authenticity, recounting that he had witnessed the incident while picking up his son. “It was some Africans that stay right next door to my kid’s mother,” he explained. “This African dude next door had the damn cat on the grill.”
While this incident didn’t occur in Springfield and the individuals involved were not Haitian migrants, it does involve newly arrived migrants in Ohio who were grilling and eating cats.
Chris Rufo and his team thoroughly verified the details, confirming the video’s authenticity and its location. However, it’s important to note that this single event does not fully corroborate the claims made by former President Donald Trump regarding pet consumption by migrants in Springfield, nor does it involve both cats and dogs as previously suggested. Still, this incident does challenge the narrative put forward by mainstream media and fact-checkers, who have dismissed such claims as baseless or racist.
Rufo’s findings raise broader questions: if this is happening in Dayton, could it also be occurring in larger migrant communities like Springfield? The possibility is not far-fetched, as certain cultures in developing nations, such as the Congo or Haiti, have traditions involving the consumption or sacrifice of animals considered pets in the U.S.
While some may dismiss this as an isolated incident or argue that it’s “just one video,” it could very well be the beginning of a larger issue yet to be uncovered.
