FLASHBACK: Kamala Harris In 2018 Joked About Killing Donald Trump

In a 2018 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, then-Senator Kamala Harris, now the Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President, made a controversial joke about the possibility of killing then-President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, or Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

During the segment, Harris was asked, “If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?”

Laughing, Harris responded, “Does one of us have to come out alive?” which was followed by her own laughter.

This resurfaced after a recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. A 58-year-old Democratic activist, Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly trying to assassinate Trump with an AK-style rifle while he was playing golf at his West Palm Beach golf club.

Although Trump’s golf round was not publicly scheduled, Secret Service agents spotted Routh aiming through a fence and opened fire. Routh fled but was later apprehended unharmed by law enforcement.
