Amazon mistakenly uploaded an image of a sexually suggestive art and design publication titled “KINFOLK” as the cover for “Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden” by Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec. “Bulletproof” is the first book about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, and the error has caused a stir online.
The incorrect cover image was first noticed on Friday and brought to light by Posobiec, one of the book’s authors, who tweeted, “ATTN: I do not know what is going on, but This is NOT the cover for Bulletproof, @Amazon. They are sabotaging the FIRST book ever written about the Trump assassination.”
The news of the incorrect cover quickly spread on social media, with many users noting that Amazon has had ample time to fix the mistake but has yet to do so. Ian Miles Cheong commented on X (formerly Twitter), “Jack Posobiec’s book on the attempt on Donald Trump’s life still has the wrong cover on Amazon despite trending at the top spot.”
According to promotional material from the publisher, “Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden” is described as “the first complete preliminary investigative report on the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump that occurred on July 13, 2024, at 6:11 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in Butler, PA, USA.” The book promises a detailed, moment-by-moment account of the event, focusing on Trump, law enforcement, and the would-be assassin, while delving deeper than mainstream news reports and raising tough questions.
The book also uncovers new details from private investigators about the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and explains how the failed assassination attempt led to political upheaval. Posobiec and Lisec back their claims with solid evidence.
Despite its official release being over a month away, “Bulletproof” is already the #1 bestseller in the Law Enforcement Politics category on Amazon. This makes it even more perplexing that the retail giant has not yet addressed the cover issue.
